About
Delaney Gibbons is an illustrator and visual storyteller based in Des Moines, Iowa. With a background in both illustration and creative writing—and more than a decade of professional design experience—she creates concept-driven work across editorial, publishing, comics, campaigns, brand collaborations, and illustration-led design.
Her work translates stories, ideas, and complex subjects into clear, memorable visual concepts—whether for a single editorial image, an illustrated campaign, a memoir comic, or a larger narrative experience.
Across both personal and commissioned projects, she is drawn to story, connection, humor, and the peculiarities of human experience.
She is available for freelance illustration, editorial and publishing projects, brand collaborations, and select creative engagements where illustration and visual storytelling play a central role.
