Passport to Value for Wine Spectator
Project Overview
Created a full-page editorial illustration for Wine Spectator based on the article "Passport to Value." This self-directed, speculative brief was designed to accompany a feature piece highlighting premium, luxury wines from world-renowned regions like Chile, Italy, and France that offer high-end taste without the exorbitant travel expenses.
Creative Approach & Solution
The challenge was to visually synthesize the concepts of premium luxury and economic value into a single, aspirational image. My solution leans heavily into classic wanderlust, drawing inspiration from the romanticism of vintage travel posters, scenic wine trains, and the exclusive allure of first-class life.
The resulting artwork delivers a sophisticated, transportive narrative that elevates the article's theme, seamlessly blending the worlds of high-end travel and fine wine.
